Plum In April
Plum
mourning –
deep plum mourns –
plum covers our bed;
I am draped in plum, my husband,
some think me bold plum, saucy plum, inappropriate;
you would have seen lilac darken
plum as they age, drop,
dying plum.
I plum.
Mourn.
